Anywho, so we are going to each section in Michael's and I am like "Oh Hone, look at this." "Baby check out this." "OMG LOVE, THEY HAVE THIS" "yo, thats posh" "bling baby" you get the idea I was making a big time fool of myself inside the store. But I decided to stay with pink, champagne, a bit tropical and butterflies but I'm adding sparkle. Here's some pics that are have inspired me: My Pink and Champagne crystal butterfly theme!

Yup, I am doing that for the table or tables at the resturant. (I found this pics at random so if you want credit for your pic contact me.)

GOT MY RECEPTION DRESS!

CAN WE SAY: R-O-S-S! yup I got a Calvin Klein ivory long dress in a size 12 for $44.95 at ROSS! You can find tons of labels at your local Ross, Tj Maxx etc I know, I know...I'm super posh bridal scout. So, whats today's lesson. Don't be afraid to shop where most brides won't look! Here's my tips:

  1. Thou shall wear tennis shoes. This isn't Sex in the City here...this is Sales in the City.
  2. Thou shall be kind to thy neighbor shopper. She may have just the size you need and vice a versa.
  3. Thou shall know thine labels and fabrics. Know what you are looking at or else someone may grab your deal.
  4. Thou shall not be overly courteous. There are tons of gals in there so don't be scared to say "Excuse me Miss, I can't breathe."
  5. Thou shall maketh many trips. Its true, you get into the dressing room and you realize that you have the wrong size or you left something. be patient.
  6. Thou shall not judge a scroll by its flap. Seriously, don't look at a person and think you know all about them just because they are wearing sweat pants. they maybe a resourceful person in sweat pants.
  7. Thou shall converse with thine neighbor: Ask the ladies around you for advice. Being shy makes for a fashion faux pas.
  8. Thy Shall know thine self. Go with your gut. If you have two dresses and you are not sure. Follow your heart.
  9. Thy shall have cash and only shop thereof. Shop only when you have the money in cash or bank card form. Anything else debt.
  10. Thy Shall STAY in Budget. I'm not having a DJ, limo, millions of guest or even a big church ceremony. Two dresses isn't out of my budget. Its important to know your budget and stay in it.
TADA! My shopping at Ross commandments. I will soon be putting picks up. I just gotta nag more. (lol, just joking.)

Get Married, The Magazine? Thats Posh.

Yup, its true. Due in October Get Married the mag will have the same hot stuff that the website has. The glam tips, the fab celebrity planners and all the wonder of the bridal world. I am a huge fan! Get married has a pretty loyal fan base, the TV show is super posh and the tips are way practical and well rounded.

I love the site. It features tips of the trade from the bridal vendors that you want to know. Budget savvy how tos for the DIY brides. Fancy stuff for the fancy people and just eye candy for folks who just like to party. I watch all the cool videos like every moment I can. I would do it in my sleep...although the Fi wouldn't be so happy about that.

I'm super glad that Get Married will be a magazine. The new focus of this hot magazine: US! Brides who are unique and not cookie cutter:

"Get Married magazine is scheduled to publish its first issue October 2009. Tagged as a “new shopping & trend guide for the savvy bride,” Get Married magazine extends the brand loyalty of Get Married’s Lifetime Television show viewers and GetMarried.com users who crave unique and integrated content. This third platform brings a tactile and fresh experience to a new generation of brides who aspire to discover new inspirations on TV, online and in print. "

Yup, what they said. Now I can carry a copy of the latest bridal trends in my handbag. That's Posh.

Fancy Shamacy: High Fashion and Rich Details

I found even more ways to save money on your big day. Well there are so many names in the bridal industry is hard to keep up. However here are some super cool big names that are working with small time budgets.

1. Alfred Angelo Alfred Angelo is a well known name in the bridal scene for many years. Recently they have added a line for budget brides called Recessionista Collection. There are nine new styles in the collection starting at $299. This style is only $399! Check out the line: http://www.alfredangelo.com/Company/Recessionista.aspx#

2. Gail Watson Gail Watson who is also a legendary name in the bridal world has a less expensive line of cakes for couples who wish to have the super pretty cake for a normal price. the cakes are simply elegant and Gail Watson also gives decorative options for the all white cakes like sugar sea shells, flowers and cherries. Intense sweet favors like Fresh berries and cream, Chocolate Mousse, White chocolate mousse, Raspberry Mousse, Cappuccino Mousse,Chocolate Hazelnut Praline Choose fondant or butter cream icing, either way you can't lose. Check out A Simple Cake: http://www.asimplecake.com/index.php

Hitched or Ditched: Ditched.

Wow talk about shocking ending. I feel really bad for the first couple of Hitched or Ditched but in the end I think they did the right thing. I mean no one approved of their marriage. Plus they had different ideas of what commitment was. They really weren't compatible, which is sad but sometimes thats what happens in relationships. They had enough love for each other but they weren't in the same place. Plus being rushed to save all of their issues in a week didn't help either. It did however give them "clear eyes" to see pass the lovey dovey feelings.

So whats the big lesson, here? Here's five I have learned:

  1. Don't party too hard. If your hubby says its time to go, ladies drop the beer its time to go. Its more about respecting your significant others feelings.
  2. Listen to your families' advice, they have been on the earth longer then you and they love you . Hear their side and then make your own decision.
  3. Evaluate your relationship. Go to pre martial counseling or have open and honest convos together about your feelings and expectations.
  4. Be willing to compromise. look no one is perfect, we all have flaws so we can't be so hard on our partners.
  5. Know when to stay and when to go. Some people can fix their issues and some people cant but the the only way to tell is honesty and time.
I hope the other couples have better luck. The first lady made an awesome bride she was flawless.

Dresses for super curvy brides!

Bara Luxe...beautiful. All women are different. Different shades and sizes. Different opinions and point of views. However for the longest time the fashion world has kind of ignored everyone but the fab, tall and lean. While this is great for most beautiful lean ladies...it sucks for everyone else. If you are short, you may get a petite section and if you are average then you can hit almost any mall and find something. But most plus size women don't have the same kind of access to the fancy shamancy glam stores that their lean counter parts get to visit. Plus the awkward standard size ten sample dress that most brides have to try on just spoils that whole bridal experience. So this rude gal who really cuts no cards with folks is here to help: This dress is from Igigi is called the White Diamonds wedding dress! Its only $275! www.igigi.com This dress is also from Igigi and its called the Eveline Pleated white gown. Its only $320! Bara Luxe!!!!! If you are a glam gal and love only the finest things then Bara Luxe is your label. They make gorgeous wedding dresses and have bigger then size ten sample wedding dresses! http://www.baraluxe.com/gallery_luxe_full_size.php Another super cool designer that has that Sex In The City feel is Darius Cordell. A texan designer who will customize any gown on his online store site. http://dariuscordell.com/dresses.htm Last but not least, Kiyonna Klothing. This super cute dress would be great for a city hall wedding or a reception dress. Its only $288 and the longer verison is only $420! Check out her bridal boutique: http://www.kiyonna.com/plus-size-clothing/Bridal_Boutique Some other great places to look are :

  • David's Bridal
  • Alfred Angelo
  • Nordstrom

Update: Loving the Hubby , right now.

Yup so we just discussed the idea of the city hall/ restaurant and he loves it! I think I may have found the perfect restaurant too! It just made sense since our guest list just kept on getting shorter. At first it was 80 people, then 50, then 20 and finally like ten to fifteen. I have talked to tons of folks and everyone was super nice with giving me options but the end results is I rather do one thing very well and lavish then try to stretch the budget to accommodate EVERYTHING! So here are the things that didn't make the cut:

  • DJ- The hubby isn't a dancer and I think my folks would rather eat and be merry then dance all nite long.
  • The Grand Banquet hall- I love the hall I first chose it was affordable and just perfect in every way but not practical my ever shrinking guest list will get swallowed in a big hall or even a small hall. A restaurant table will do just fine. Pass the champagne.
  • The date. I wanted June but Hubby wants August. Personally, I don't care as long as its in the summer.
Some things that will stay:
  • My cute idea for guest glam boxes...I will be posting about my boxes.
  • The restaurant, we like the menu but we have to go over there to see the service.
  • The photographer...i must have pics.
  • My dress, every time I try it on I fall in love all over again with it.
Maybe List:
  • limo? no limo? that's a question...its kind of a luxury sort of thing. should we or just rent a car? or use our car or another family member's?
  • Reception dress. My dress is a bit too heavy and I want to wear it for the ceremony and the dinner but after that then what? My reception dress will have to be like dirt cheap.
My biggest gripe is that my Fi isnt always on the same page with me on the planning. Now between the two of us , he is the better half. I love that he is super practical and blunt. He is the type of guy that will tell you if your breath stinks. I'm more creative and dreamy about stuff. I'll admit it. But I come up with super cool ideas, like this blog. (I'm not always so modest)

However, I guess maybe its cus I got super wedding happy at first that now he is like no more flowers, or cakes and no more dresses. I guess I will have to trust me own taste. He is always there for the important stuff.

Here's an interesting url about a bride and her groom who are not always on the same page but want the same thing:

Wedding TV: I ALSO LOVE SHAMEA!

OK, I couldn't help myself. I'm abusing my own blog here but I love this episode too on My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding on VH1,ALL OF THE EPISODES ARE SUPER FUNNY BUT SUPER HOT TOO:

http://www.truveo.com/shamea-and-eric-act-2/id/72057636533796266

Wedding TV: I LOVE TAMMY!

I love VH1's My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding! Its so not what I'm about. I'm a bout SAVING folks money and being well, posh at it. The show is about couples who go all out for their dream day!

I am loving Tammy she reminds me of my manager Sharon, super fab and super fierce white lady. At first I wanted a really pink wedding...like all pink. Super Pepto Bismol wedding. But now I just want something affordable, classy and pretty. While I would never go that extravagant even if I had the money, I can take tidbits from My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding. And so can you.

Tidbit no1. Make the experience enjoyable for everyone. Saying Hi and thanking all of guests is FREE! It is important to just tell people how much you care about them and how happy you are to see them.

Tidbit no 2. Look great. Its your wedding day. If you decide to wear jeans, look great. if you wear a ball gown, look great.

Tidbit no.3 Make it personal. Some folks write custom vows and others a monogram Godiva chocolate favors. Do what you need to do to make it special.

Getting knowledge from the Future In laws Today.

So today was kind of sad for me. All of my buddies seem to be growing into big people. Getting jobs, moving away, starting and ending serious relationships, graduating and or having kids. They may be able to say the same about me cus I'm growing too, I'm getting married. I guess we all have to grow some time and today is a good day to accept that things change. People change and for the most part all of my friends are changing for the better.

What does this have to do with my future In Laws? Nothing. Well maybe part of the change of growing up means getting wiser. I tend to think of myself as a savvy shopper. I buy what I can afford and look damn good in it (most of the time...i have funky days too) however I am beginning to realize how wedding obsessed I have been the past couple of months.

I have sort of became a very weird form of Bridezilla. Not the "Where is my planner, I must have diamonds everywhere!!! I said NOW!" BUT instead the " We have to call and book the reception site or else we may not be able to get married...yes i know its a year away" Bridezilla.

I tell you having a great mother in law is a blessing cus she can talk some sense into you when you just can't see the light on the other side of the tunnel. My future mother in law came up with a simple plan:

  1. Get married at the city hall wear whatever you like and bring whoever you like.
  2. Go to a restaurant with all of your family
  3. Be merry and married.
  4. Leave the whole she bang for your anniversary.
GENIUS! EUREKA! Seriously a great idea. Now it needs some posh elements like wearing a fab dress in city hall but its a brilliant idea. The most touching thing she told me today was "Marriage/ weddings are matters for the heart NOT the wallet." It put my inner Bridezilla to shame but she needs to grow up.

Hitched or ditched? I will be tuning in...

This is a very interesting show on the CW. The whole concept of this show is that couples are put into this interesting ultimatum situation by their mates: Marry me or lose me. They get to have everything the whole she bang and its really left to the couple to say "I do" or "I'm out"

I don't know how I feel about this new trend of women taking the bull by the horns. One side of me says "Hell ya sister, tell that dude that he can't have the milk without buying the cow" no pun intended but you understand. The other side is kind of leery like "Isn't it more special when it dons on him that he needs you by his side". It kind of justifies why you are there in the first place.

Maybe its a case by case kind of thing. Like everyone is different. Some guys will live with a women for twenty years, have eight kids with this women and have joint bank accounts and still never ever think of marriage. That guy may just need a wake up call like "Hey dude, maybe you don't know this BUT we are already married...DUH"

While others go straight cave man and grab a lady, buy the ring and propose on the spot within a year. Proposing to a guy like that maybe like cutting his dick off.

Whatever the case, it will be interesting to see how this pans out:

Amazing Fitness Tips from a Victoria's Secret model

Victoria's Secrets models...Super pretty, super tall and super toned. I don't think there is any women who has not look at one of those catalogs and thought "Damn, I want to look just like her" or thought something mean and uncalled for.

Hey I'll admit, I have. Nothing mean. I grew up going from super thin (like a size 6) to a little bigger (size 18) and now I'm a size 12/14. Standing at 5"8", most people tell me that I look OK but I will admit that I don't feel that way. I have always wondered "What does it take to look like that?"

I mean after all those models are humans like me. They cry, talk, and have families. what are some of the tips they would give on being healthy and fit. Well of course I have found some: This is from the super hot blonde lady, Marisa Miller. Her pic below:

This is not the most current issue of Shape Magazine but Miller does give simple really cool sound advice that any lady can take to stay trim and you can read that and more on WWW.SHAPE.COM:

You might assume Victoria's Secret model Marisa Miller was born beautiful. And yes, she's the first to admit her DNA is one explanation for her fresh-faced, glowing beauty. "But a lot of people believe that because I'm curvy—and blonde—I've had a boob job or some other kind of plastic surgery, which isn't true," says the 30-year-old California native. "I'm 100 percent natural, but I have to work hard to stay in shape. There's no magic pill. Believe me, if there was, I'd know about it."

1. Get active, and the sooner the better. "You could say I've been going to the gym since before I was born," says Marisa with a laugh. "I have a photo of my mom the day before she went into labor with me wearing her unitard and leg warmers—very eighties." Her mother's dedication to physical fitness, as well as both parents' passion for surfing, have contributed to Marisa's health mantra: "Working out is not a luxury, it's a necessity."

2. Never run on empty. "I usually have steel-cut oatmeal with sliced bananas in the morning, but if I want something fast, I whip up a protein shake," says Marisa. "I mix soy or almond milk, yogurt, a banana, and a scoop of protein powder with frozen organic fruit, like mangoes or blueberries. I don't measure anything; I just throw it all in the blender. I also carry Gnu Flavor & Fiber bars with me in case I need to eat on the run."

3. Give in to temptation. "I prefer healthy food and try not to bring too many treats into my house. But I don't believe in depriving myself either," says Marisa. "When I go to the movies, I have a sugary soda, not a diet one. And if I want a burger, I'll have a burger. I just make it a point not to eat one five days in a row."

4. Be flexible with your workouts. "It's not easy for me to stick to a set routine, but if I can do something almost every day, I don't have to play catch-up before a big photo shoot," says Marisa. "I have a home gym and I take Spinning classes at my local health club. When I can, I box with a trainer, which helps me blast calories. If I'm going on the road, I bring resistance bands with me so I can strength-train anywhere. Every bit helps."

5. Don't eat like your guy. "My husband, Griffin, is tall and lean, so he can eat anything he wants," says Marisa. "Some nights he'll bring home french fries, and I have to resist them! I decide to say ‘no' and then make something else, like a veggie burger. It's not always an easy choice, but it's a healthier one."

Check out the summer issue of Shape for the rest of Marisa's simple look- and feel-fabulous secrets, along with an inside look at her surf-inspired workout.

I'm a mean, brown, trimming Fat machine!

HERE'S AN UPDATE: I'm losing the weight, baby! No more FIVE GUYS going two weeks since the vow! I am also eating less sweets and trying to bring back the VEG in vegetarian! Its hard cus I'm a bread gal. I may not touch your meat BUT I will DESTROY your bread. So far I have lost 8 pounds...I know cus I have been measuring. I'm trying to eat less of what I want cus I read that most people have issues with portion control. Lets see if it can be done... I am also looking for a signature snack. I want something really nature, no MSG, High Fructose anything, red #5 or 6. Just pure, nature and easy to digest. Here are the contenders: Peanuts which are high in protein PLUS easy to carry. Dark Chocolate...the ultimate satisfying snack... the darker the better health experts say. Carrots...on again off again snack...I'm blind as a bat cus I don't eat enough of this vegetable. So far these are the contenders....who will win?

New Found Cool Thing!

Once in a while someone will come up with a really cool idea based on sheer common sense. As a dark skin lady, it was always hard to find things like make up, panty hose, undies. I was kind of stuck with the standard black, white, pink , tropical color (this what I always picked) or nude. It sucked cus everyone can kind of see you bra if you wearing a light color cotton teen or in the future a white dress.

Well here comes My Skins, a lingerie line that is based solely on the color of ladies skins. If you are tan, then rock your tan. If you are pink, rock your pink. If you are green, work your green (the hubby and I looooved Star Trek)! No more embarrassing funny color panty lines !

Super Deals: Dresses $300 and under!

Its that time when I try to help Brides to be save money on their Wedding dresses! I never could understand the trend to blow a life's fortune on a piece of clothing. Whether you have tons of money or just a penny, saving money is good! It doesn't make any sense to spend a thousand on a wedding dress (unless its custom made for you and you only) when you can save hundreds on something just as nice. The way I see it if you spend tons of money on your dress then it had better fit perfect or else you will also have a great big fat alterations bill as well. If you buy a dress for $250 then need to get it altered for another $100 you have spent a total of $350 and that's it! It just common spending savvy to me, that's all. Anyway here are the dresses, all of them are from Unique Vintage, which is the place I got my dress: This dress is too cute. I am normally not a puff ball gown dress kind of person but if I were having a big fancy church wedding I would wear this! Its only $274 at Unique Vintage! This dress is another puffy ball gown that's super hott! It looks like it cost a fortune but it only cost $275! Who says budget savvy has to look cheap? Plus it comes in white too! Unique Vintage! This dress is in my opinion for the classy very traditional bride who has always wanted the white dress. This Strapless stunner is only $188. For the hot mama who has been working out for months! Blinged out and drop dead sexy, this dress is perfect for a women who loves the classic starlet look. Only $ 148 at Unique Vintage. I would've picked this dress If I wasn't having less then 20 people. Seriously glam! This dress looks like a movie star would wear it. Also at Unique Vintage and only $228! For the Anti-Bride, she hates white, she hates rings and hates cake. But does want to look like a million bucks. This gold and mocha dress is pretty, sexy but not sweet. At Unique Vintage, only $198. City Hall in the Media- The Office

City Hall Vs "The Real Wedding" It is an age old debate for any couple who has made it passed the usual mating rituals: Ya know the rituals,

  • The first meeting ("Does my breath stink?"),
  • The waiting period for the first call("Why won't he just pick up the bloody phone already and call me!")
  • The first kiss...("seriously, you need a breathe mint")
  • The third date ( "Victoria Secret's here I come")
  • The first "I love you...and I really mean it"
  • The moving in ("Honey lets NOT tell my parents we are living in sin, ok?")
  • The first, second, third and fourth major argument that threaten to end your relationship.
  • The "now what" stage...
  • The realization that the two of you are better together than apart or that you are stuck with your mate for a very long time.
  • and finally the will share my last slice of pizza but won't become a completely different person unless you are footing the bill for plastic surgery kind of love that makes everyone around you just dreadfully sick.

Yup once you have gone through the wire you reach the wedding bells and bills. Do you literally go for broke with everyone you know watching you and cheering you on or do you save your money, have an amazing time with tons of pissed of family members to come home to?

Honestly its really up to the couple. I know some women who would just die if they can't have all of there college sorority sisters at their wedding. I am not like this but I can understand it. I guess for most ladies the first instinct is to invite everyone who has ever smiled at you. It was mine until my FI (who is quite blunt) told me nope or we would be years trying to save for it.

I think that in the end if you are Man and wife or whatever thats what really matters. In the eyes of the law and in your hearts.

Here is a funny clip that touches the heart and funny bone of every couple who has looked at the bill for a three tier wedding cake or a couple of centerpieces:

Ex-Bachelorette Jen Schefft has some bridal budget tips

Here is a celeb with tons of common sense. When the going gets tough this ex-Bachelorette starts whipping her wedding budget and bod into shape! In 2003, Jen Schefft won our hearts as the gal who won Andrew Firestone's heart on the Bachelor. After they broke up, she turned the tables by staring as the main fox in the Bachelorette. However, she was still unlucky in love until she met her current man who happens to be a trader.

As Luck would have it shortly after her hubby to be proposed, Jen lost her job in sales. Instead of sulking into a corner, she decided to trim the wedding excess and go on with the show. This is the scoop according to US magazine:

The Venue: Jen isn't going to a rental shop to rent out tables and chairs, they're "going with everything that comes with the venue [an Italian restaurant]," saved money by booking a DJ instead of a band, and isn't worrying about matching ribbons on the programs and invitations. She said, "Even saving $200 is saving $200."

The Guest: Jen and hubby are just having family and friends. The total head count will be about 100 folks.

On her fashion: Jen said, "You can save a lot on shoes — no one really even sees them . . . The bracelet I'll buy, but it won't be, you know, real pearls." She's also mindful of how much she's spending on the dress and explained, "I'm not going to wear a $20,000, or even a $10,000 dress. I just don't think it's worth it for one day." Plus, Jen is doing her own makeup and having her hair stylist do her hair!

Wanna get more tips check her out in Wedding Channel Magazine where she has her own Celeb bridal blog:

Wedding money saving tips!

I was doing my wedding search and i found this article kind of within an article. Some wedding vendor lady was super pissed cus she thought the article was giving bad advice. Here's the Wedding Vendors Comments:

http://lasvegasweddingnetwork.org/2009/04/17/wedding-professionals-unite-against-these-suggestions/

The article is called The Big Wedding Money-Wasters:

http://food.yahoo.com/blog/foxyfestivities/19773/the-big-wedding-money-wasters/

First of all, I think that both sides are sort of right. Wedding vendors DO charge too much MOST times. They do it cause its "your wedding and it must be perfect". Yada yada yada and blah blah. Some would charge for the air your guest breath if they could see it. Wanna read some horror stories of brides getting cleaned out read Bridal Bargains.

However, there is a point when a little DIY turns into all in one super Bridezilla. There some things that a bride should not do Not because we can't do the job (I have been cooking since I was ten, I know how to make a mean dozen of cupcakes)but because its a LUXURY not to have too.

Its part of that one day relax and be pretty thing which is a resounding note in the wedding vendor song. I think its good to take the advice that best suits you.

The Fashion God Bring you: Gilt Groupe

Consignment Heaven! Recessionista Bride tips!

Yup, its that time again when I write a post. I have been flooded working my butt off at work so I haven't had much time to write. Anyway I as usual I am always looking for the hottest deals and any way to wed for less so here is the hot stuff: CONSIGNMENT STORES! These aren't your regular grandma consignment stores. No these are the hottest hand me downs of the year. Big names like Gucci, Fendi, Prada, Helmut Lang e.t.c. Here are some of the hot stores: Christabelle' s Closet: This site is user friendly and pretty easy. Find what you need by size or category. http://christabellescloset.com/

INA NYC- Its a real store based in NYC but has a cool Ebay online store just click shop online. Bonus has a cool Helmut Lang dress in white. http://www.inanyc.com/

Second Time Around http://www.secondtimearound.net/index.aspx I live in the DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia area) and we have one over her that I love. On the site it has store locations but it doesn't have shop online options.

Annie Creamcheese Also in the DMV area and Vegas, this shop has tons of high class fashion and it has the option of shopping online. Only one gripe, its hard to find sizes for curvy gals. Other than that its very posh. http://www.anniecreamcheese.com/home

Consignment Store Tips:

  1. Know what you are looking at. Learn a little bit about fashion labels go into fashion and bridal high fashion boutiques. Really look at the tags and the way the clothes are made before dropping $500 at a consignment shop for that fab dress.
  2. Stare that item down. Look for loose threads, stains, tears or any signs of wear. If it rips on your big day, you have just wasted your money whether it be $5 or a million.
  3. Bring a friend who is honest but not too chatty. Sometimes a chatty buddy will make you miss your deals. Yea, talking about the latest plastic surgery craze is fun (and sometimes funny as hell) BUT you just may walk out on a great steal cus you buddy wants to go to Starbucks.
  4. Sell some stuff to gain some stuff. Look into making deals with your friends at the consignment store. Its Good Shopping Karma. Try the folks at the Buffalo Exchange: http://www.buffaloexchange.com/index.htm
  5. Have Fun!
So there you have it!No need to spend thousands when you can just get it for less! Who says helping keep the world green is boring?
